Our Story
Zahara was founded in 2024 in Nairobi by the Devrail team after seeing too many Kenyans pay thousands of shillings to agencies for basic information that should be free — or worse, getting scammed with false promises about Germany.
We started by building AI-powered motivation letter and CV generators that actually understood the Kenyan-to-Germany context — KCSE grades, Kenyan work experience, M-Pesa payments. From there, we added school matching, a readiness score, cost-of-living data, career field guides across 59 professions, and a network of alumni consultants who offer real, verified guidance from inside Germany.
Today, Zahara covers the full journey: from “Is Germany right for me?” to “I have my visa and I'm packing.”
